Solid connection, small hiccup
I rented the SoftBank Pocket WiFi for my two-week trip. The connection was generally very strong, even in some rural areas outside of Kyoto, which was great for planning on the go. Pickup at Kansai Airport was quick. The battery life was decent but I did have to charge it daily, sometimes twice with heavy use. It would be nice if they included a power bank as standard or at least made the rental cost for one less. Overall, it was a reliable service though and made my travel much easier.
Good value for Japan trip
